The Midlothian Reading Challenge is for pupils to read 6 texts between 23rd January and 30th March 2012 outwith normal school reading tasks. This BBC Scotland Robert Burns archive has been three years in the making and features more than 700 poems and songs of Robert Burns. A total of 66 readers contributed recordings, from the short to the epic. There is also biographical material and information about Burns’ night in this excellent resource. It’s that time after the holidays when you try to log into Glow only to find that you have forgotten your password or you end up entering the wrong password and locking yourself out! Here are some tips and information which might help. Ms Deyenberg, a Primary 1 teacher at Paradykes, has used a wide range of ICT to support an animals’ topic. Nintendogs on the DS Lite, Kinectimals on the XBox, digital stills cameras and Flip Cams were some of the technology used independently by the children .
