3 training videos have been created to support staff and pupils in creating the M Factor video using Garage Band and iMovie. These videos take pupils through how to set up the project, import the M Factor track, edit tracks, add instruments, save and export as well as showing how to use video footage together with the music track. iMovie Part 1

Last session when in P3, they took part in the Young Writers Poetry Competition. Their Roman Army poems have now been published and they have received their copies of the Travel Back In Rhyme UK Verse Poetry Book. The school has now gone forward to the finals of the Schools Category and are eagerly awaiting the results. Well done to all the staff and pupils on this achievement.
The pupils in Hawthornden Provision were finding out about some European countries as part of our school Comenius project. We decided that there are lots of countries all around the world that we wanted to find more about. We thought that it would be a good idea to ask people from all over the world to send us a postcard – not tweet, email or text. Once the cards arrive we find out about the country the postcard was sent from and then add an entry to our Blog and a tweet to our Twitter page. Read more…
On Monday 14 January 2013, RM Unify is being switched on for every pupil in Scottish schools and local authorities. This will make it easier to access the great content in Glow. To access current Glow, on your landing page click on the Glow Portal tile. To return to the Unify screen click on the RM Unify button on Glow Light. Staff are already using RM Unify. Roslin Primary School staff have been fortunate to work with staff from Edinburgh University to develop their and their pupils’ knowledge and skills of Metacognition.
